Description
I hiked "The Wave" on a beautiful, sunny day. It was a strenuous 3 mile hike in sand and sandstone. Number of tourists is limited by BLM permit to protect the fragile rock formations.
... ... ...
I started the hike on the Navajo reservation in Utah and walked to Coyote Butte North in Arizona, where the dramatic iconic "wave" rock formations are located.
... ... ...
This abstract photograph shows the beauty of the striated rock formations in this remote desert location. The orange and tan colors are all nature's beautiful artwork. They change as the sun moves across the horizon. The striated patterns in the rocks were created thousands of years ago by erosion caused by wind and water.
... ... ...
A photographer's paradise - what an adventure!

Wow!! I am not sure whether this falls into the category of "weird natural oddities," but in the category of "how did He do that." I love it.
