This image began as a landscape photograph taken in the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, outside Las Vegas, NV. I was editing the image, when these fantastic, hot, bold colors lit up my monitor! I decided that I liked this abstract version even better than the original panorama. The desert landscape scenery is visible, but it is splashed with the vivid colors. You can feel the heat of the desert!
