Fisherman at Kolob metal print by Marcia Socolik. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

Photo was taken at Kolob Reservoir, in Utah near Zion National Park, in the Southwestern United States. The pink sky of sunset, reflected in the water of the lake is magnificent! Look closely and see the lone fisherman... Dreamy.

Kolob Reservoir, at an altitude of 8,118 feet, is accessed via Kolob Terrace Road, a sparsely travelled road through Zion National Park, 24 miles from the town of Virgin, Utah or 24 miles from Cedar City, Utah. It is surrounded by private land. Fishing is allowed. It is very scenic in the winter but is only accessible by snowmobile.

There are beautiful aspen and other trees around the reservoir, providing some beautiful opportunities for fall foliage and nature photography.
About Marcia Socolik
Alan and Marcia, Nevada residents, are avid photographers. Alan takes many photos while hiking around the area you will see some of his dramatic landscape photos in our portfolio. Marcia looks at things from a different perspective her photos are usually still life or photos of objects that she finds interesting or unique.
