Mountain of Aspens metal print by Alan Socolik. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

Artist's Description
I frequently hike in the Mt. Charleston area, usually in the summer. In winter it is too cold and snowy. The autumn colors are beautiful, but only last for a short time. This photo was taken while I was hiking in the Mount Charleston area, on the Mary Jane Falls trail. Would you believe that this beautiful scenery can be found just minutes from Las Vegas, Nevada!!!

Mount Charleston, officially named Charleston Peak, at 11,916 feet (3,632 m), is the highest of the Spring Mountains of southern Nevada and the state's eighth highest mountain peak. It is about 35 miles (56 km) northwest of Las Vegas and is within the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest, the Mount Charleston Wilderness and the Spring Mountains National Recreation Area. Well separated from higher peaks by large, low basins, it is the most topographically prominent peak in the state, and the eighth most prominent peak in the contiguous United States.
